Under 18’s endurance event group
These sessions are led by the club’s endurance athletics coach and are suitable for young athletes wanting to develop their skills and ability for race distances of 800m and longer. The sessions focus on improving running technique as well as building speed and endurance. The sessions are tailored to suit the ability of individuals.
We mix the training so we run sessions on the Pingles track, in Riversley park and when the weather permits, in summer, longer runs off-road. The focus is to prepare for track competitions in the summer and cross-country races in the winter.
