The sessions for young athletes are split into small groups, split by age (7-10 year old and 11-14 year old) are led by experienced coaches who will work through the programme, progressively building skills and confidence.

The sessions are suitable for children of all skill levels from beginners to those who have already taken part in introductory athletics programmes, holiday courses or school competitions. The programme covers running, jumping, throwing and fundamental movement skills; these are skills useful for all sports, not just athletics. Young athletes are encouraged to gain experience in competitions.
