Road sessions are coach lead/organised sessions based around skills and techniques for the upcoming race seasons and are ideal for both beginners and athletes looking to improve and develop their running

 

These sessions are adaptive to all levels of runners developing fitness, skills and techniques in a social environment 

Dependent on season and upcoming races they are often tailored towards specific skills and techniques that will benefit both the racing athletes and those looking to vary their training round

Training types include

- Steady/Social pack runs

- Endurance (up to 8 miles dependent on ability)

- Fartlec (Steady run with sprint/effort sections)

- Hill repetitions

- Pacing (out & back runs)

The club has a selection of routes that cater for a wide range of abilities
