FAQs

Q. Do I need to be a serious runner before I can join?

A. Absolutely not. We welcome all standards of athletes and will help you progress to your own potential. We're not all runners either. There is a successful race walking team and also athletics field events are practised. When you first come to training we will assess your current level of performance and try to find you a training group at a similar level. As you improve you can progress to another group.

Q. What events do you do?

A. We train and compete all year round. We have members competing in; track and field athletics, road running, race walking and cross country running. We cover a full range of age groups - There are competitions for under 11s right through to Masters events specifically for over 60s.
