Junior Athletics To Restart
We are going to reopen our coached training sessions for young athletes (under 13 years old) on 8th September. The format will be based on the award-winning Athletics365 programme and the number of available places will be limited. We will start with 2 groups, 7-10 year old and 11-12 year old, each with 12 places.
Courses will be run in terms that are 16 weeks long. Athletes will sign up for the whole term to attend on Tuesdays, Thursdays or both days. As places are limited priority will be given to club members, children of club volunteers and siblings of existing members. If places are over-subscribed we will have a waiting list. If more places become available we will run another induction in late October.
The sessions on 8th and 10th will be registration for the autumn term and there will be a mandatory briefing for parents to explain the new format, content and covid19 procedures
